The Green House farm in the Dalesha of the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has achieved great success in continuously supplying the local market with its need of vegetables and fruits and overcoming the challenges it faced, especially in the volatile climate and weak water resources on the island.
The farm has worked to develop its activity by adding new agricultural products by building agricultural houses (green house) to protect agriculture from monsoon winds and a modern irrigation network, in addition to securing water resources through the establishment of water tanks in order to ensure the continuation of crop production and supply the local market with distinct products from vegetables and fruits, which contributed to increasing self-sufficiency in the governorate.
