Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation completed working on preparation of Laska football playground today. The preparation works included redrawing and lining the playground and constructing goals with nets in accordance with the international standards. In addition, the Foundation provided the teams with sport clothes and footballs.
Two teams of young men in Qarra played a show match on the playground as celebration for preparation of the playground.
Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, official of sport activities at Khalifa Foundation, highlighted that preparation of the playground in Laska in accordance with instructions of the Representative of Khalifa Foundation, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, who always concerned with the youth and sports.
In this regard, Mohamed Ali Saad, Sheikh of Laska, praised the role of Khalifa Foundation for its concern with the district, and highlighted that this playground would be positively reflected on the making the people active, since they have waited for this for a long time.
Abdullah Mohamed Adrahn, Sheikh of youth in Laska, said that implementation of this project would cause a significant impact on youth and strengthen their skills.
