Ataya Model School organized a celebration of “Mother’s Day” for students with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and presence of a large number of mothers in promotion of expressing love and loyalty to mothers because of their leading role in building families and communities.
The celebration witnessed performance of different dances and songs expressing the importance of this day to community, as the mother was the jewel of life.
In the celebration, Ahmed Ibrahim Khalid, Director General of Education Office in Socotra, commended the great effort of Ataya Model School and its concern with organizing different events with support of Khalifa Foundation, which made the school academically advanced.
Ms. Amal Said, Principal of Ataya Model School, welcomed the presenting individuals at the beginning of the celebration and assured that this celebration was in line with appreciation to for the role of the mother in the community.
In addition, Mr. Ahmed Ibrahim, Director General of Education Office; representatives of Khalifa Foundation; and Dr. Nadeem Hassan, Dean of Community College, opened the annual exhibition of Ataya Model School, which included group of creative works by students, which the people liked and expressed their joy for watching them. It reflected the great benefiting of students during the primary stages.
