Today, the cleaning campaign in Hadiboh in Socotra launched today with support of Khalifa Foundation.
The campaign titled “Keep Hadiboh clean”, which targeted Hadiboh with participation of staff of Socotra Center for Training and Consultation and Community College in addition to group of people, removed large amount of plastic waste dust and garbage across main and subsidiary streets, and transported them to garbage spaces outside the city.
The people, who participated in the campaign, expressed their appreciation for this initiative that would help in improvement of team work among the citizens, and expressed their happiness for participation in this campaign, which helped in removing tons of waste.
Khalifa Foundation expressed its thanks and appreciation for the response of the people and their effective participation in this volunteering activity, and asserted that these campaigns would promote the concept of clean streets among the people.
The team of Socotra Online presented and covered during the campaign activities. Mohamed Khalifa, Manager of Office of Yemeni Ambassador to Djibouti, said that Khalifa Foundation always surprise us with such humanitarian activities aiming at cleaning streets of Socotra.
Dr. Nadim Al Azmi, Dean of Community College in Socotra, said that the campaign carried out with support of Khalifa Foundation and participation of students of Community College and Socotra Center for Training and Consultation was largely welcomed. He expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for such effort.
Ali Salem Dahiq, Supervisor of Socotra Center for Training and Consultation, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for adoption of this campaign today wishing to repeat the experience again to have clean and healthy environment.
