Sport audience in the Socotra Archipelago are waiting for the final match of the 4th Nujed Football Championship, which is going to be held today at noon with support of Khalifa Foundation. The Championship was launched on June 20 with participation of 18 clubs distributed to 4 groups. The final match is going to be held on Zayed City 1 Playground between Nujed and Al Nassr.
Captain Ismail Al Junaibi, Sport Official at Khalifa Foundation, mentioned that the Championship witnessed big competition this year, and highlighted that it achieved its objective of strengthening skills of youth and discovering new sport skilled individuals. He also highlighted that officials at Khalifa Foundation afforded all possible efforts to develop sport sector and implement different sport activities.
In this regard, Ahmed Hazoom, President of Football Association Office, highlighted that the office completed all necessary preparations for the ceremony of the final match to honor the winner.
He also commended efforts of Khalifa Foundation for the continuous support in motivation of sport sector in the governorate.
It was worth noting that Al Nassr and Nujed were qualified to the final match after winning against Al Jazeera and Al Sharq respectively.
