Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation organized an educational tour to Socotra International Airport to recognize method of work of gyrocopter and helicopter in association with group of administrative and academic staff of the Socotra Institute.
Employees of the Airport and technical team of gyrocopter and helicopter were present to welcome the group to deliver a detailed explanation on mechanism of using helicopters and gyrocopters in rescue operations, assistance delivery, and missing search in addition to other operations related to spraying pesticides during season of mosquitoes and grasshoppers.
Thereafter, students started asking questions to the technical team. Socotra Online was present to reflect feedback of students on this tour. Abdel Aziz Galal mentioned that it was a very amazing tour.
Student Sabaa Rashid commended the great effort by Khalifa Foundation in provision such helicopters for quick response in rescue operations.
