For the sixth successive day, the works of excavation for extension of underground cable were continuous by Dexim Power and Water Technology for the completion of the first phase of Alama station, which would feed a large space of the west coastline with power, starting from Satmo to Salmho.
The excavation works reached to the public main cable in Sheikh Zayed Dahim City, and then the works on the subsidiary lines for the villages and districts in the east of the station as a first phase. The second phase would be extended from Alama to Salmho.
Mr. Mohamed Al Samli, Identifier of west coastline, stated to Socotra Online that he was very happy for this significant project, which they waited for years in line with the works in electricity sector adopted by Khalifa Foundation in the Socotra Archipelago. He highlighted that the works were continuous since the launch of the work a week ago. He also asserted that Representative of Khalifa Foundation, His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei. He expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and the Representative of Khalifa Foundation for the continuous support to the Archipelago.
