With large audience in Nujed Heritage and Sport Festival 2020 in the South coast of the Socotra Archipelago with support of Khalifa Foundation, several heritage shows continued its events. Camels Competition followed by the audience in addition to women cooking competitions and dates competitions were held with large audience that followed them with passion yesterday.
Nujed Heritage and Sport Festival welcomed large number of people of Socotra from different districts with participation and happiness for revival of Socotra heritage and outstanding support by Khalifa Foundation and the United Arab Emirates.
Socotra Online presented to cover the festival. Sheikh Ghanem Saeed Al Zahqi mentioned that this festival was held with support of Khalifa Foundation in the Socotra Archipelago. It is a heritage and sport festival with different cultural and heritage events with support of the United Arab Emirates aiming at revival of the original heritage of Socotra. In addition, the festival included football championship, camels competitions, dates competition, and old dishes cooking competition. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation.
Sheikh Abdullah Selim, Sheikh of Zayed City 1 expressed his deep appreciation and thanks to the United Arab Emirates and Khalifa Foundation for the great support to this heritage festival.
