In line with the continuous effort by the relief team of Khalifa Foundation, the charity teams arrived to Muraba 1 in Qalansiyah with different foodstuff as assistance for the people yesterday. It benefited about 225 families.
The people expressed their happiness and joy for this assistance. Mr. Essa Said Al Hakmi commended the great role of Khalifa Foundation in helping the people of the Socotra Archipelago through many developmental projects.
He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates and teams of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for the great effort and generous support to the people of the Socotra Archipelago.
Citizen Salem Mohamed Al Gadmehi highlighted that the support by the United Arab Emirates was not new and they have used to receive such support from Khalifa Foundation and UAE for years.
In this regard, Mr. Anwar Khamis Al Shawi thanked Khalifa Foundation for the development and humanitarian support in all fields that helped in achievement of prosperity in Socotra.
Mr. Mubarak Ahmed Balgahar said that the people of Socotra were very happy for this assistance, and expressed his appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and its leaders for the continuous support to the people across Socotra.
