In cooperation with Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, the UAE medical team following the Emirates Red Crescent arrived to Qalansiyah Hospital to vaccinate people of Socotra against COVID-19 for free.
This was in line with the schedule that was set to cover all villages and cities across Socotra.
Mr. Essa Saeed, Director General of Qalansiyah Directorate, asserted that arrival of the medical team for vaccination was very important to promote protection against COVID-19. He also thanked the Emirates Red Crescent and Khalifa Foundation for their support in all fields and at all times.
Mr. Mubarak Salem, Identifier of Qalansiyah, mentioned that arrival of the medical team was in line with the field visits that were implemented by the team to vaccinate as large number as possible of people of Socotra.
Mr. Ahmed Salem, resident in Qalansiyah, commended the significant UAE role in Socotra through the support in different fields. He also thanked members of the medical mission and hands of charity of UAE in Socotra.
