By arrival of Emirates Mars Mission, UAE has become the fifth in history of mankind to arrive to Mars. Millions in UAE and the Arab World watched and followed up this historical moment of arrival of the Emirates Mars Mission to capturing point around Mars in a huge live event over televisions and internet websites.
Emirates Mars Mission arrived at 07:42 today to the capturing point of the red planet “Mars”, which was considered as the hardest phase of the space mission. The journey lasted for seven months with a distance of 493 Million Kilometers to arrive to the red planet to start the scientific mission aiming at providing wealth of scientific information. This achievement would be a great celebration of the golden jubilee of establishment of UAE summering the inspirational story of the United Arab Emirates.
In celebration of this event, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan “President of UAE” congratulated the people of UAE and the Arab World for success of the Emirates Mars Mission, and commended the exceptional effort of UAE nationals in turning dream into fact.
His Highness President of UAE mentioned that this achievement would not have been achieved without persistence of people of UAE”. Furthermore, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of Armed Forces, commended the great support to achieve such mission to impress the whole world.
His Highness commended the project, as it arose from the loyal corporate effort and hard working to make dreams true.
