Teams of support of the United Arab Emirates continue arriving various assistance to people of Socotra, as Khalifa Foundation distributed food assistance to people of Zayed 2 in Zaheq today, from which 78 families benefited.
An official at Khalifa Foundation highlighted that distribution of this food assistance to people of Zayed 2 was in line with the continuous effort by Khalifa Foundation in provision of requirements for people of Socotra and mitigate their suffering.
Khalifa Foundation delivered to Zayed City 2, 2 new power generators and financial assistance to all families across the city. In addition, Khalifa Foundation provided the mosque of the city with Quran and interpretation books in line with preparation for Ramadan.
Citizen AbdelKareem Ahmed Helal commended this humanitarian gesture by Khalifa Foundation in Zayed City 2 through provision of power generators to protect people from high temperature of the summer in addition to the financial and food assistance, which would help in provision of requirements for Ramadan.
Gameel Saad mentioned that efforts of Khalifa Foundation were tangible and large across the Socotra Archipelago in different fields.
