Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation drew smiles on faces of people of Mumi in Socotra by the arrival of the relief and humanitarian assistance vehicles to provide people with all essentials.
The food assistance included (rice, flour, oil, sugar, dates, shahi, and cooking oil). 451 families benefited from this assistance, which would help people during this hard time.
During distribution of assistance, Saleh Malek, Identifier of Mumi Districts, expressed gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for helping people of Socotra in general and people of Mumi in specific. He indicated that the food assistance would have significant impact on families of the districts.
In turn, Amer Ahmed Essa, Sheikh of the Youth, expressed his gratitude to Khalifa Foundation for delivering the assistance to people of Mumi during this hard time. He mentioned that UAE humanitarian foundations contributed to improving quality of life of people.
Sheikh Sulaif Saanahan, Sheikh of Bagobig, expressed happiness of people of Mumi for the arrival of the assistance, and thanked Khalifa Foundation for the great effort.
Citizen Ali Mohamed thanked team of Khalifa Foundation for the field effort to arrive to all districts and villages, even the remote ones.
