The food and consumer goods provided by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation arrived today Wednesday, September 11, 2019 to the east coast areas in Socotra.
This assistance included food and consumer goods essential for the people of the east coast area such as Irsel, Safra, Arrahn and Tamer. The assistance arrived to four main areas to be distributed among the people.
This distribution of food assistance was within the instructions of His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazouei, Representative of Khalifa Foundation, who instructed to send these assistance vehicles to the people of Socotra. The people expressed their happiness and joy for such assistance, and expressed their thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for the continuous support.
