UAE ADNOC opens a New Station in the Southern Coastline in the Socotra Archipelago

ADNOC Oil Company, the UAE Company, opened a new station in the Southern Coastline (Nujed and Qaara) in Socotra Governorate in line with instructions of His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei, General Representative of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, to respond to calls of people of Nujed and Qaara to mitigate their suffering from arranging petroleum products.

Sultan Ali bin Essa bin Afrar, Head of Development Committee, and group of identifiers, sheikhs and leaders attended the opening. Sheikh Ghanem Al Zahqi, Identifier of Nujed, highlighted importance of this station, which would help in arranging petroleum products in addition to domestic gas. He also indicated that people of Nujed and Qaara were very happy for such project, which has been awaited for years.

Sheikh Ghanem Al Zahqi commended role of the UAE, represented by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, in Socotra in relation with establishment of such service and development projects to serve people of Socotra.

It was worth noting that this gas station would provide people, especially fishermen and farmers, with their needs without any suffers.
