Al Sharq was qualified to the semi-final in the 4th Nujed Football Championship after winning by two goals for one against Al Wehda. The match witnessed a large number of audience with presence of Ismail Al Junaibi, Sport Official at Khalifa Foundation; Ahmed Hazoom, Head of Football Association Office in Socotra; Saleh Ali, Secretary General; and number of sport and youth leaders in the governorate.
The match was competitive. Al Wehda scored the first goal in the match by the player Yousri Okail in minute 12 during the first half.
During the second half, Al Sharq insisted on winning the match and scored its first goal by the striker Yahia AbdelAziz in minute 72 and the second goal by Ahmed Thani in minute 58.
Al Sharq would meet Nujed in semi-final, as Nujed won against Radfan 5/3 yesterday.
The match was managed by the referee Amar Sabaab with assistance of Mahfouz Khamis, Saleh Al Baidani, Ihab Yahia and Ahmed Ali.
