Traffic Regulating Campaign in Streets Hadiboh, the Capital of Socotra

Socotra Island witnesses many positive steps including traffic regulating that has become one of the most important steps during these days. The Island witnesses some careful steps in traffic regulating in public street in line with the traffic safety and common community responsibility. Therefore, everyone has to cooperate to prevent traffic accidents and its damages.

Lieutenant Colonel Mubarak Suliman bin Qablan, Director General of Traffic Police, and group of police officers worked on regulating traffic aiming at reducing overcrowding in main streets of the capital Hadiboh. The traffic regulating system by the traffic police is considered as one of the most important things these days, as it will help in saving many lives.

During the campaign, Director of Traffic Police in public streets and corridors motivated the participants to afford the best efforts in order to regulate traffic to ensure prevention of traffic violations. This is an important part in supporting civil life in Hadiboh.

Qablan highlighted that the campaign was in line with the process of raising awareness of vehicle drivers in main streets in Hadiboh in addition to highways. He also motivated drivers to adopt the traffic rules that would ensure safety for everyone.

He also expressed his appreciation to Socotra Online for visiting the traffic police department to check the field work.

In addition, First Lieutenant Wadah Atiq, one of traffic officers, highlighted that the traffic department in the Socotra Archipelago worked hard on regulating traffic in streets of Hadiboh and raising awareness of drivers in relation with complying with the traffic rules.

  1. Salem Saeed highlighted that streets of Hadiboh witnessed a great achievement in the field of traffic regulating to reduce overcrowding. Many traffic signs were fixed in streets of Hadiboh, which was considered as a positive step.

Abdullah Saad Jamaan expressed his appreciation to the traffic department in the governorate for such achievement, and highlighted that such regulating would help in serving community.
