The University of Socotra has provided a suitable environment for academic education by adopting modern educational programs and methods that contribute to raising the level of student assimilation.
The university has been keen to link the theoretical and applied aspects in its academic courses due to the importance of this in gaining the student a wide knowledge and achieving confidence in overcoming many difficulties.
The administration of the University of Socotra has devoted its efforts to launching training and rehabilitation programs in several fields for university students and employees due to the importance of this in developing their awareness and expanding their current and future activities.
The students of the University of Socotra confirmed that the university is currently a teaching and training body to build a link between the theoretical academic field and practical application.
Wedad Mounir, a student at the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computer, said that the university has created all the requirements of the scientific aspect that enable the student to apply what he learnt in the theoretical aspect, which is one of the factors in strengthening the scientific output of the university.
The student Abdullah Al-Kibani stressed his keenness to attend the practical training programs, as it is one of the elements of building the personality of the university student and supporting his career and academic experience.
The student, Abdul Rahman Salem Muhammad, indicated the university’s keenness to train its students within the context of the practical aspect, based on its vision, objectives and distinction in the vicinity of universities of higher education.
The student, Hajar Yahya Abdullah, emphasized that the University of Socotra was distinguished by its scientific disciplines that keep pace with the requirements of the labor market on the island. There are several computer training programs for students that help students drive computers that enable them to get suitable job opportunities in line with the times.
