The University of Socotra inaugurated the football championship for its academic departments for the current academic year 2021-2022.
An official source at the university said that the launch of the first football championship for the university departments is an implementation of its plan and the program of sports activities set by the university leadership within its plan for the current academic year.
He pointed out that the participation of 3 sports teams in the championship from the academic departments of the faculties of computer and information technology, management and economics, and that a match will be held every week.
The inauguration ceremony, which took place at the championship stadium located in Hadiboh, witnessed an academic, student and public presence to encourage students to continue practicing sports, which is an important positive behavior in society.
