The University of Socotra has launched an English language course for outstanding students at the university and the two faculties of Education and Society in the governorate.
The one-month course, in which 70 male and female students participated, aimed at qualifying students to promote their academic level in the English language.
An official source at the university said the implementation of the course in the English language for university students and the faculties of Education and Society comes within the university’s program to qualify students and employees of all levels to develop their abilities in language and other fields, including computer and administration.
The University of Socotra Archipelago was keen to continuously provide various rehabilitation programs and raise the scientific competence of students and people of Socotra. It was also keen to implement various activities for its students and create a distinguished scientific environment and atmosphere.
