The UAE ship AD ASTRA has started unloading its cargo in the port of Socotra, which carries various humanitarian aids for the people of the archipelago.
A source at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation told Socotra Online that the ship carried a variety of foodstuffs and the requirements of projects and service and vital institutions operated by the Foundation on the island.
Pointing out that this support comes within the framework of the Foundation’s efforts to develop Socotra and enhance its stability in terms of services and living.
For their part, the people of Socotra expressed their happiness with the arrival of the AD ASTRA ship to the island for its good omens in moving the wheel of development and helping the people with the requirements of living. They appreciated the role of the UAE represented by the Khalifa Foundation and its general representative in their constant keenness to provide the necessary requirements of its children.
