The poet Saeed Abdullah Suleiman Batami qualified for the final in the Socotra poetry competition for the children’s category, which was organized within the activities of the Sultan Ali bin Essa bin Afrar Heritage Festival with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The qualification of the poet Al-Batami from the third group comes after a competition with 4 poets in the group, during which he was able to obtain the votes of the jury that chose him to be among the poets of the closing day.
The poet Saeed Abdullah Al-Batami expressed his happiness for winning the competition for his third group and qualifying for the final. He pointed out that all the poets who were with him in the group were creative poets and the competition was strong with them.
He extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for their generous sponsorship of this competition, which would have a major role in preserving Socotra poetry and encouraging children to learn it.
The competition witnessed poetic participation from the great poets who added a special aesthetic image.
