The Leadership Training Course in Socotra Governorate continues its first training program for the leadership of the local authority and the executive office in the governorate, which was set up by the University of Socotra Archipelago.
The course has exceeded its first month since its inception, which included 30 participants from the first row leadership in the governorate and would continue during the next month.
The participants received scientific lectures in management, computers and the English language, which helped to raise their abilities significantly.
In the same context, a number of leaders participating in the course spoke to the Socotra Online website, and the beginning was with Abdullah Al-Maawali, Director General of Technical Education and Vocational Training, who confirmed that the course would be considered as one of the best courses with its various programs in management, computer and English language, and it has achieved great benefit for us. He added that the course continues with its various programs, and we were still achieving more scientific progress through the lectures we received.
Fayez Muhammad Saeed, Director General of Social Welfare, said that the course programs added distinguished scientific knowledge to the administrative cadres in the governorate and acquired important skills in computers, English and administrative terminology. The course was still offering lectures in various aspects over the next month.
For his part, Ahmed Saleh Ali, Director General of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, indicated that joining this course represented a scientific gain for us as leaders of official institutions to develop our capabilities in administrative aspects, English language and computer programs in a scientific manner.
He praised the efforts of the University of the Socotra and its cooperation in providing distinguished contents and its keenness to achieve extensive knowledge among the participants, as well as all thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for its support to establish the course, which was the first of its kind.
Issa Saeed Mohamed, Director General of Qalansiyah and Abd Al-Kori, said that the course strengthened our administrative ability and gave us examples of successful management and added scientific skills in computers at its various levels, noting the role of the brothers in the UAE and their keenness to qualify leaders and raise their scientific capabilities that would reflect the nature of their practical activity.
Lt. Col. Plus Muhammad Salem, Assistant Director-General of Police for Security Affairs, said that the course program was distinguished, as it focused largely on what leaders need in terms of programs and work that would help them in their administrative activities, each in his institution.
The participant Mubarak Salem Abdhan thanked the Khalifa Foundation and its general representative for all the support and assistance he provided to the island, especially in the rehabilitation that included various sectors to raise the competencies of institutional work at the governorate level.
He added that the leaders’ preparation course is one of the best courses on the island, which provided scientific programs in management, computers and the English language and opened a wide knowledge window.
Ali Fadl Al-Aqrabi, Former Director of Education in Qalansiyah, said that his participation in the course gained him extensive skills in management, computer and English, and was considered one of the most courses that provided useful contents to the participant, thanks to God and the efforts of the cadres of the University of Socotra Archipelago, and with the generous support of the Khalifa Foundation.
