Socotra Online
A judiciary delegation from Socotra carried out an official visit to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, for several days. The delegation consisting of President of Hadibo and Qalansiyah Court in Socotra, Judge Ahmed Awad Al Tambala, Judge Mohamed Al Mass, and Governorate Public Prosecutor, met many Emirati judicial officials, and was acquainted with the UAE judicial experience.
During the first day of the visit, the judicial delegation from Socotra observed the proceedings and was acquainted with the way of management of a case file in addition to the role of public prosecution. The Delegation attended many hearing in different circuits; civil plenary and commercial first instance. Furthermore, the Delegation listened to a presentation on the information technology.
The Delegation members expressed their highly admiration and appreciation for the amazing development witnessed by Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and also expressed their happiness to visit the United Arab Emirates, which came in order to strengthen the judicial work and see the latest and advanced methods on the process of dealing with various issues.
In turn, the Vice-President of the Judicial Department, Counselor/ Yousef Al Abri, in his speech, welcomed the visiting delegation and expressed the readiness of the Judicial Department to receive the officials that come from Socotra Governorate and provide all assistance and capabilities to them in order to strengthen the role of courts there. He also welcomed the arrival of any mission visiting Abu Dhabi for the purpose of training and qualification aimed at reaching the highest international practices and excellence in achieving completed justice.
