Last Friday evening, the contract for the qualifiers for the Golden Square was completed in the Fifth Sheikh Zayed Football Championship for Socotra Clubs, which was organized by the game branch in the governorate with the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.
This comes after Al Sharq defeated Al-Ahly, and we found Al-Mina with the same score 5/3 on penalties, after they tied negatively in the original time of the two matches, during which they joined Al-Hilal and Al-Jazira, who qualified from the first and second matches at the expense of Radfan and Al-Nasr.
Al Hilal will face Al Sharq and Al Jazira with Noujid in fiery matches to qualify for the final match and enhance its chances of winning the championship title in its fifth edition.
The quarter-final meetings witnessed a large audience from various cities and regions of Socotra to enjoy the excitement of the matches and the footballing creativity presented by the club’s stars that quenches the thirst of the masses thirsting for such strong football competitions.
