The field team of the Emirates Red Crescent distributed the gifts of Eid Al-Adha to the children of Socotra along with the humanitarian efforts adopted by the United Arab Emirates to support the people of the Socotra Archipelago within the framework of social responsibility that contributes to the happiness of society.
The field team of the Emirates Red Crescent presented a sum of money to the children as an Eid gift, which contributed to bringing joy and happiness to their hearts on this religious occasion.
Through these social, humanitarian and charitable activities on various occasions, the Emirates Red Crescent contributed to the consolidation of the values of giving and giving, and its role in bringing joy and happiness to the hearts of children and their families.
The Eid gift is one of the most important rituals of Eid, whether Eid Al-Fitr or Eid Al-Adha, and its name is also derived from the feast itself, which means giving or kindness. Gifts throughout the ages, and some date their beginning to the Fatimid era among some of the other rituals attributed to this era, such as sweets of the Prophet’s birthday, lanterns and oriental sweets in the blessed month of Ramadan.
