The Computer Lab achieves a Great Benefit for Students and Teachers in the City of Qalansiyah

The computer lab at Seif Bin Dhaizan Elementary School has made great use of teachers and students in the city of Qalansiyah in dealing with and driving computers, which has become a necessity for scientific and practical life.

Where the laboratory administration implemented a number of courses for teachers and students at Seif Bin Dhaizan Elementary School and Qalansiyah Secondary School, which contributed to get students acquainted to computers and the scientific programs it contained that contributed to the development of students’ abilities and qualify them for a better scientific future.

Mr. Amr Abdel Aziz, the computer teacher, said that the training courses that were implemented during the past year achieved great benefit for teachers and students in both Seif Bin Dhi Yazan and Qalansiyah Secondary Schools, starting from get them acquainted to the basics of computers to getting acquainted with and training on various programs.

He added that the laboratory has a qualifying plan for the current year targeting high school students and teachers in order to enable them to use the computer in a smooth and simple way.

Amr praised the support of the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation and its efforts to support education in Socotra and its keenness to establish computer laboratories to develop the capabilities of students and teachers in this aspect, which opens up advanced scientific and practical horizons for them.

Suleiman Abdullah Suleiman, student at Qalansiyah Secondary School, expressed his gratitude for the role played by the Khalifa Foundation in supporting the educational sciences in the Qalansiyah Directorate and developing students’ abilities in computers and the English language.

He pointed out that the students of the basic stage in the Directorate of Qalansiyah can drive the computer through their school, and Suleiman expressed his appreciation to Mr.  Amr for his efforts in communicating information and enabling students to understand the basics of using the computer in a smooth and simple way.
