The team of Khalifa Foundation to control the palm weevil continued its operations and field visits in different villages and cities across Socotra.
The team arrived to Qalansiyah today, and started surveying and investigating on the palm weevil in Qaiso.
Mr. Salem Hawash, member at Khalifa Foundation team, said that they examined many gardens and greenhouses in Qaiso and tested many palms to control the palm weevil. He also expressed his appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for its support to the farmers to control the palm weevil.
In this regard, Mubarak Salem, Identifier of Abdehen and representative of Khalifa Foundation in Qalansiyah, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation and the visiting team for the great effort to control the palm weevil.
Farmer Al Qaisi expressed his thanks to Khalifa Foundation for the great concern and support to the people of Socotra in different fields, especially agriculture.
