On Sunday January 26, an awareness-raising workshop was held in the headquarters of Sultan Ali bin Essa bin Afrar on the firefighting methods to avoid risks and fight fires in work places using the suitable procedures.
The workshop was held by the team of Khalifa Foundation with presence of leaders and sheikhs of Socotra and members of the Development Committee in line with the awareness-raising initiatives.
The participating individuals listened to a detailed explanation from the instructor Abu Rashed Al Zahmi on objectives of the workshop and instructions relating to safety in case of fire.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation team worked on qualifying and training the medical team of Khalifa Hospital in Socotra.
