“Suqia… Message for Hope” initiative still works on providing pure water tanks to the people across Socotra daily with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. The field teams reach to Qabhaten in west of Socotra that suffers from drought due to delay of season of rain. Said Malek, Head of Qabhaten, said to Socotra Online that launch of Suqia Campaign was in time, especially that they suffered from drought due to delay of season of rain. He highlighted that the role of Khalifa Foundation was very important to the people of Socotra in general. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the great effort.
It was worth noting that Suqia Campaign has been operating since its launch years ago to help the people of Socotra.
