“Suqia… Message for Hope” initiative, which was launched by the Emirates Red Crescent in Ramadan, continued its operations of providing the people of Socotra with drinking water.
Since launch of the initiative, the water tankers arrived to several places such as Qadeb, Nujaher, Laska, and Dexim in order to provide the people with drinking water, which was their dream for years.
It was worth noting that the team carried out a field survey to recognize the districts and villages that need to be included in the plan of drinking water.
The people of Socotra largely welcomed and appreciated the humanitarian activities by Khalifa Foundation on the Island.
