With support of Khalifa Foundation, Dexim Power and Water Technology started replacement of old power transformers with new ones with capacity of 200 MW including Musaqbahen and Muraba’ 1 aiming at promoting electricity in these districts.
Engineer Ahmed Adel said that this change was in line with the concern of Khalifa Foundation with supporting electricity sector in Socotra through replacement of old transformers with new ones with higher capacity.
In this regard, Mr. Fahmi Ali Ibrahim mentioned that this step would help in promoting electricity in Socotra and expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Dexim Power and Khalifa Foundation for the outstanding effort.
Sheikh Mohamed Saad Jamaan expressed his comfort for such measure by Dexim Power and Khalifa Foundation, and expressed his deep appreciation to teams of Dexim Power and Khalifa Foundation.
In addition, Mr. Ahmed Essa bin Ghanem expressed his thanks and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates represented by Khalifa Foundation for the great development in Socotra.
