The Fifth Edition of Sheikh Zayed Football Championship for Socotra Clubs resumed its competitions with a match that brought together Al-Mina and Al-Wasl clubs from the fourth group, which ended with the victory of the first with two goals to one. Al-Mina topped the group with 3 points after Al-Sharq and Al-Jamawi tied in the same group with two goals each

While the second group competition witnessed last Friday, a precious victory for Al-Ahly against Nujed by four goals to two goals, during which Al-Ahly scored the points of its first meeting in the tournament in the 61st minute, and Essa Ghaleb in the 77th minute, and with this result, Al-Ahly club raised its score to 3 points, while Nujed remained in its previous score with 3 points, after its victory in the first round over Al-Wehda with three goals to two goals.

In another match, Al-Taleea Club defeated Al-Jamhour Club with three clean goals in the opening of the second round of the fourth group competitions. The three goals of Al-Talia in the first half were scored by Abdullah Boukad, two goals in the 7th minute and in the 8th minute, and his colleague Nasser Aref added the third goal in the 27th minute.

With this result, Al-Taleea lost his first three points in the championship in his first match, while the balance of the fans with his previous score was frozen, a point from a tie against Al-Sharq in the previous round, with two goals for each.

Radfan Club topped its first group after its victory on Sunday against Dam Al Akhawayn Club with three clean goals. Radfan Awad Al Abbad scored in the 25th minute, Ali Al-Amri in the 65th minute and Suleiman Al-Shahtawi in the 77th minute of the match. Radfan raised his score to 6 points, and Dam Al Awain bid farewell to the championship. Early after receiving two successive defeats in the first round from Etoile du Sahel, four to zero, and in the second yesterday, with a clean three-pointer.
