Schools in Qalansiyah in the Socotra Archipelago, which are 19 primary schools and one secondary school, witnessed another successful academic year with the continuous support by Khalifa Foundation. The Foundation always supports people of Socotra in all fields, especially education to build new educated generation. This was reflected on level of knowledge of students.
Mr. Saad Al Jadmahi, Director of Education in Qalansiyah, mentioned to Socotra Online that education in schools of Qalansiyah is ongoing in accordance with the plan set by the Education Office in Qalansiyah with continuous support of Khalifa Foundation through provision of new contracted teachers to fill the gap of teaching staff and provision of transportation for students.
Mr. Essa bin Hamdon, Principal of Qalansiyah Secondary School, thanked Khalifa Foundation for providing the school book for students in addition to contracting with teachers to fill the gap of teaching staff.
Mr. Mohamed Al Miri, Teacher from Egypt at Qalansiyah Secondary School, mentioned that Qalansiyah Secondary School completed the first semester and started the second one with continuous effort in delivering additional courses afternoon to promote academic level of students. He also thanked and expressed appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the generous support.
