With a support by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, Ataya Model Primary School organized an entertainment and exploratory journey to Dehimri Marine Reserve.
Ms. Amal Saeed Saad, Principal of Ataya Model School, highlighted that this journey was in line with extra-curriculum activities that aimed at recognizing the distinguished locations in Socotra. She also highlighted that 29 male and female students participants, who participated in the cultural and curriculum competition under sponsorship of Education Office in Socotra among the public and national schools.
Principal of the School presented a presentation on Dehimiri Marine Reserve representing the distinguished diversity. Ms. Shaimaa thanked Khalifa Foundation for the support of this entertainment and exploratory journey to provide students with information on environment in Socotra.
Students expressed their happiness for this journey that allowed recognizing one of the most important environment and tourism features in Socotra.
It is worth noting that Dehimiri Marine Reserve is in the east of Socotra -33km away from the capital of Socotra.
