Students in Socotra are given Second Chance for Acceptance Exams for Khalifa Foundation Scholarships

On Monday, November 11, 2019, a supplementary exam was conducted for bachelor scholarships provided by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for the students of Socotra.

Dr. Hamdi, the Follow-up Official of Education Process at Khalifa Foundation, said that it was expected that 90 male and female students would attend for exams on November 02 and 03, 2019 in Al Zahraa School and Saif bin Daizen. However, only 59 students attended, while 15 could not come due to rainfall in Socotra during these days. Therefore, they had their exams in Ataya School as a second chance. Counting the student came today, the total number of students had the exam was 74 male and female students.

Applicants Impressions

Student Majed Ali Maabhour commended the understanding of Khalifa Foundation of the reasons for non-attendance of the exam on 2nd of November, and giving the students such second chance, which showed the care of Khalifa Foundation towards the male and female students in Socotra.

Student Abdullah Fadl Khamis said that he would like to express thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for such second chance to compete with other applicants for the scholarships. He added that such second chance never came in our minds, but Khalifa Foundation used to help the people of Socotra, with the students on the top.

Student Amna Mohamed Sabri expressed her indescribable happiness for such second chance for having the exams for the scholarships provided by Khalifa Foundation.

Student Nadra Ghanem Abdullah expressed her thanks and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for its concern and care for the male and female students in Socotra by providing them with such scholarships in different majors, which in turn would be beneficial for the Archipelago through the education background that they would have during their studying abroad.
