Khalifa Foundation worked on removal of waste that has been accumulated in Qalansiyah waste dump to burn such waste to provide space for waste and garbage of the following year. This was in line with concerning of Khalifa Foundation with cleaning for healthy and clean environment in Socotra.
This campaign and providing the cleaning office in Qalansiyah with a working vehicle, were largely welcomed by the people of Socotra, as the people expressed their gratitude and appreciation to Khalifa Foundation for the great effort that would contribute to show the aesthetic aspect of Socotra.
Socotra Online reflected feedback of people of Socotra. Mr. Mubarak Salem Abdihen, Identifier of Qalansiayh, highlighted that Khalifa Foundation has been the main supporter to cleaning campaigns across Socotra as well as developmental and service projects that aimed at improvement of Socotra in general. He also added that Khalifa Foundation supported the Socotra Archipelago through different campaigns.
It was worth noting that Khalifa Foundation launched and completed many cleaning campaigns across Socotra aiming at clean cities and preserved environment.
