Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra Governorate and the centers for the presence of its medical teams witnessed a high turnout by citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
Where the hospital provided two medical teams in the Council of Sultan and the Governorate office, in addition to a fixed team in the hospital to vaccinate citizens with the anti-COVID-19 vaccine, which would help in strengthening their immunity to face complications and effects of the virus on human life.
During the past two days, medical teams worked to vaccinate more than 500 people, including tribal sheikhs, leaders and employees of government institutions, to protect them from the threat of the virus and to combat the increase in the number of new infections on the island.
The medical teams were also keen to raise awareness in the community about the importance of immunization against Corona to prevent it and protect the family and society from the spread of the virus.
