The leadership of the local authority, executive offices and political figures in Socotra Governorate praised the efforts of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in support of building the scientific capabilities of leaders in the governorate in developing institutional work.
During the honoring ceremony for the leadership preparation course (administrative level) for general managers and heads of local councils and executive offices, the attendees expressed the importance of this course and its positive impact on building the institutional work system for offices and institutions according to modern scientific methods.
Socotra Online was present in monitoring some impressions, as the beginning was with Raed Al-Juraibi, Senior Deputy Governor, who praised the efforts of the Khalifa Foundation and its support to establish a leadership course in the governorate, in order to raise their capabilities and enhance their management skills, which would contribute to changing the reality of their institutions to a better level that copes with the changes at the governorate level.
Al-Juraibi noted the activity of the University of Socotra in launching rehabilitation activities and its interest in this aspect, which would have a positive impact on building and developing the Archipelago.
Brigadier General Saleh Ali Saad, the Deputy Governor, urged the participants in the course to make the most of it and to reflect the information and skills they received on the nature of their daily work within the framework of their offices on the administrative side, to raise the level of their activity in their institution.
He praised the efforts of the brothers in the UAE for their interest in the education aspect and the various rehabilitation programs in the governorate.
Issa Saeed Al-Hakami, Director-General of the Qalansiyah Directorate, expressed his pleasure in participating in this course, which was titled Preparation of Leaders and the qualification programs it included in English language and computer skills, pointing out that the course gave us scientific skills that we are working to implement in our offices to improve the level of work.
Al-Hakami extended his thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation and the faculty at the University of Socotra Archipelago, who had a great role in the success of this course.
Omar Salem Al-Darahi, Deputy Director-General of Socotra International Airport, said that the leaders’ preparation course was one of the best courses in building a leader because it contained various qualification programs, including administrative skills, computer leadership and English language.
Fahmi Al-Thaqali, Head of the Cultural Department of the Transitional Council, indicated that the course was a gain for leaders in the governorate to learn the various modern administrative arts and enhance the level of organization and quality.
He expressed his appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its interest in rehabilitating an elite of the governorate’s leaders to advance the island to a better and pioneering level.
Ali Fadl Al-Aqrabi, Former Director of the Education Office at Qalansiyah, said that today we celebrate the graduation of a batch of leaders from the University of Socotra, organized by the University of Socotra with the support of the Khalifa Foundation, as part of its efforts to qualify local authority leaders and executive offices to bring about positive change within the framework of government institutions and their effective activity.
Al-Aqrabi praised the support of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation and its constant keenness to adopt rehabilitation programs for Socotra cadres in Socotra and abroad.
Eng. Osan Jamaan Sioufi said that we were honored today to attend the closing of the Leaders Course in Socotra Governorate, which was organized by the University of Socotra to qualify and train leaders. Al-Sioufi added that such courses add great expertise in the general management of executive offices, as they represent a qualitative addition to leaders in expanding their skills, especially in the computer.
The course was launched on the 28th of last October and lasted for nearly two months, in which 30 participants, including general managers, heads of local councils and executive offices, participated.
