Socotra Online
The capital Hadiboh is ready for opening the building of Socotra International University, which is being refurbished and maintained by Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation. This building will be the official headquarters of the University funded and supported by Khalifa Foundation.
This academic achievement is an addition to the series of education and scholarship projects provided by Khalifa Foundation with instructions of its Representative His Excellency Khalfan Al Mazrouei.
This University is the first of kind on the Island, and is considered as one of the internationally recognized universities in the Arab World. It will largely contribute to providing opportunities for bachelor degree in different majors. In turn, this will positively affect the people of Socotra and development of the Island.
