Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation launched the summer courses for primary stage students in the Governorate with support of Khalifa Foundation. These courses, which included 30 male and female students of ages from 6-10, aimed at promoting their Arabic and English alphabet writing, drawing, and coloring.
The Institute Supervisor that the courses were under a series of qualifying courses aiming at promoting and strengthening knowledge in languages and computer skills. He added that the courses provided various methods of learning the alphabet for children through some other educational principles, which depended on child’s imagination, drawing, coloring, storytelling, movement, and voice. These methods focused on spirit, body and mind together.
It was worth noting that Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation provided a group of training and qualifying courses in different majors for the people of Socotra in order to improve and strengthen their skills to help them in having better job opportunity.
