As part of a series of continuous courses offered by Socotra Institute for Training and Consultation, Hadiboh branch celebrates the graduation of a new batch of students from kindergarten and PowerPoint courses.
Abdul Rahman Al-Akhras, the Executive Director, stated that the batch of 40 students had graduated from the kindergarten course and 7 students from the PowerPoint course. He pointed out that the Institute continues implementation of other courses in computer and English, and registration for new courses is underway.
In addition, Al-Akhras honored the graduate students with passing certificates and encouragement prizes presented by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
The student, Saif Ali Sioufi, said that he graduated from the computer PowerPoint course, which comes from the courses and qualifying opportunities offered by the Socotra Center for the people of Socotra to develop their computer skills through its continuous courses.
He extended his thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation and the center’s teaching staff for their constant efforts and keenness to develop the capabilities of the people of Socotra.
The student, Hashem Ali, expressed his happiness for graduating from the kindergarten course, in which he learned the basics of the English language, including letters, days of the week, and some words, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the teachers.
The student, Abeer Abdullah Khamis, indicated that she finished the PowerPoint course, in which she learned a lot and which enabled her to use the computer, stressing that she is happy with the level she has reached, expressing her thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation for its support of this scientific edifice on the island.
