Based on its scientific and cultural activities for its student, Al-Zahraa High School carries out an introductory visit to the model farms of the Khalifa Foundation.
During the visit, the students, accompanied by Engineer Iyad Ali Abd Allah, the agricultural supervisor, had a tour in the farm, giving them an explanation of the farms, the crops they are grown in, the methods of farming, the modern technologies they use, and the farm’s activity in the multiplication process, and encouraging citizens to pay attention to this aspect to achieve food security for the family and society.
Student Halima Ali said that our visit today to the model farm gave us extensive knowledge in the agricultural aspect and we got to know what she grows of various types of vegetables and fruits and her efforts to meet the requirements of the local market, as well as encouraging her citizens to farm.
Halima expressed her thanks to the organizers of the model farms for the good reception and the valuable agricultural information they provided.
The student, Khadija Muhammad, indicated that our visit today to the model farm enabled us to get acquainted with many of the various agricultural crops grown by the farm and supplied to the local market. We also got acquainted with modern agricultural methods, which added to us a scientific culture about the agricultural process on the island.
