Socotra Center for Training and Consultation was established with support of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation in beginning of 2019 aiming at qualifying the people of Socotra in different fields. Socotra Online met Mr. AbdelRahman Al Akhras, Manager of Socotra Center for Training and Consultation, to know more information about achievements of the Center.
He said that the male and female students worked on qualifying and training group of students who were awarded scholarships provided by Khalifa Foundation to study in Egypt. The students were enrolled in intense courses in English and Computer. Furthermore, the Center provided training courses for employees of governmental departments including many employees from Socotra International Airport.
He highlighted that one of the most important achievements of Socotra Center for Training and Consultation was recruitment of group of distinguished students within the administrative staff of the Center and recommended others for jobs in different fields.
