Socotra Center for Training and Consultation honored the distinguished children of young reader competition today, in which its students participated in story reading competition. The children submitted a summary of the story to their instructors showing their understanding of the story and its themes.
Center Director, Hanadi Khalil, mentioned that the Center concerned with organizing a competition to children to encourage them to read aiming at strengthening culture and knowledge among them. She highlighted that the Center prepared an integrated library including science and story books to help the children of different community groups in gaining knowledge.
Ahmed AbdelGameel Abdullah, Student, said that, since joining the Center, he read many story and culture books, which provided him with helpful information. He praised the efforts of the Center and its concern with student’s capabilities improvement.
Furthermore, Student AbdelAziz AbdelRahman expressed his pleasure of such honoring and encouragement by the Center confirming that reading provided him with science and wide culture knowledge.
The Center is very important for improvement of knowledge of hundreds of students and citizens of Socotra and enhancement of capabilities and creativity of them towards better life through various courses and competitions for all community groups in Socotra.
