Day after day, “Slow Down, Have your Iftar with us” initiative proves its effectiveness in contribution to educating and raising awareness of drivers on the road of the capital Hadiboh and other districts across the Socotra Archipelago.
This initiative was carried out by the teams before the time of Iftar to warn drivers of necessity for compliance with the traffic systems and slow down for safety of all people. This initiative was carried out by the hands of giving on the main roads in Hadiboh by providing drivers with pure water and dates.
This initiative was launched in cooperation with chief of public security –Socotra Police as one of the main initiative supported by Khalifa Foundation.
