The awareness-raising prevention campaign of the novel coronavirus implemented by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Socotra achieved a significant community interaction for avoiding such killing virus.
The Hospital is still conducting awareness-raising and instruction activities in different means in order to achieve effect in community and reach most of the areas and districts.
Khalifa Hospital concerned with engagement of the medical and technical staff members in spreading publications as suitable for the community to ensure benefiting all citizens to avoid the outbreak of COVID-19 in Socotra.
In this regard, Socotra Online met some citizens to seek their opinions about the campaign and its effect on protection from COVID-19. Sheikh Salem Suliman Sharkad said That Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital in Socotra implemented awareness-raising campaign of COVID-19 and asked all people for following the health instructions announced by the Hospital in order to protect the community. Furthermore, he praised the efforts of the Hospital to the people of Socotra.
The Journalist, Saleh Jameel, stated that awareness-raising efforts of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital of COVID-19 was a significant step to acquaint people with the risk of such virus and the measures that should be taken in order to protect the citizens.
Tali Khamis, Citizen, expressed his thanks to Sheikh Khalifa Hospital for such awareness-raising campaign and called people of Socotra for following the prevention procedures during the following period to keep their safety.
