Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival continued revival of the Socotra heritage and arts through its events with the support of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation.
Sheikh Zayed Festival witnessed several events that reflected heritage revival, in addition to various competitions highlighting the customs and traditions that characterize Socotra, not to mention the performances of Socotra cultural arts that visitors to the festival enjoyed.
People of Socotra commended the support of Khalifa Foundation in organizing the Fifth Edition of Sheikh Zayed Festival to revive their ancient heritage so that new generations learn those customs, traditions and the ancient Socotri heritage.
Mohammed Al-Daxemi said that this wonderful festival preserved its original heritage from extinction, thanks to God. It was made possible by the efforts of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, which organized and supported Sheikh Zayed Festival for the fifth consecutive season in order to revive the Socotra heritage. He expressed his appreciation for the mighty role played by His Excellency Sheikh Khalfan Al Mazrouei, General Representative of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in various fields, including Sheikh Zayed Festival, which was being hosted by Zayed City for the fifth consecutive season, with unparalleled success.
