The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation provided Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Socotra Governorate with two ambulances and a pickup.
An official source said that the foundation handed over three new vehicles, including two ambulances equipped with modern technologies, and a pickup car for hospital services, to the hospital management.
He pointed out that this came within the framework of the generous and continuous support provided by Khalifa Foundation in developing medical work and enhancing its emergency capabilities and capabilities on the island to deal quickly with emergency cases.
This support represented a distinct addition because of its great importance in securing the transportation of medical teams from the hospital to the medical and health facilities on the island, raising the level of their readiness and transferring sick cases to the hospital.
