The United Arab Emirates supported Socotra Police with 21 modern police vehicles in addition to the previous batch, which would be very important to security and stability in Socotra.
Socotra Online was present during handing over police vehicles to reflect feedback of security officers. Lieutenant-Colonel Mohamed Morshed, commander of Special Forces, commended the great support by the United Arab Emirates, and highlighted that such support would promote security and stability in Socotra.
Lieutenant-Colonel Abdullah Suliman Al Ajami, Director of Immigration, Passports and Citizenship, mentioned that such support reflected the continuous support by the United Arab Emirates in different fields. He added that such support would help in maintaining stability and security in Socotra.
Lieutenant Ahmed Salem, Commander of Directorate General of Police, mentioned that concern of UAE with promotion of security would significantly strengthen stability.
